State Cancer Plan Implementation Grant Opportunity

The Utah Cancer Action Network (UCAN) is pleased to announce the availability of the 2020-2021 Utah State Cancer Plan Implementation Grant. UCAN is soliciting project proposals that address the priority areas outlined in the 2016-2020 Utah Comprehensive Cancer Prevention and Control Plan (State Cancer Plan). UCAN, in coordination with the Utah Comprehensive Cancer Control Program (CCC), developed this plan as a roadmap for all organizations and individuals fighting cancer in Utah. The plan addresses the following four priority areas: physical activity and nutrition, skin cancer, cancer screening, and cancer survivorship and quality of life. Successful grant applications will incorporate goals and strategies from the UCAN priority areas outlined in the State Cancer Plan. Please note that proposals are not being accepted for the collaboration priorities at this time.

The funding period for this opportunity is June 30, 2020 – June 29, 2021.
